What is a class code?
I'm a student, where's my class code?
I'm a teacher, where do I find the class code to give to my students?
Also known as a student sign-up code, this is the code that students use to add themselves to a class. This allows them to receive assignments from their teachers, and see how they're doing against their class. If a student isn't in a class, their teacher can't track their progress, either.
Your teacher should have the class code for you. If they don't know it, either direct them to this article, or have them email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The class code is visible once you've created a class. Just go to your Admin panel, and select 'Create Class'. Enter a class name (this will be visible to your class) and create the class. Once it appears in your admin panel, you will see the Student Sign-Up Code on the right side of your row. Copy this code and give it to your students to have them enroll in your Veritas Learning Labs class.
Note: To create a class, you must join a school first. You do this by creating a teacher account, selecting 'Join Another School' and entering a code which your administrator or a Veritas Learning Labs staff member should have sent you. If you have not received one and your school is part of Veritas, please do reach out to us at email@example.com.
